Are you crazy - you are not really going to drive from Detroit to Minneapolis to have your Subaru CVT re-built, are you? This was the response I received when I told anyone what I was about to do. I am highly confident this was one of the best automotive investments I have ever made. Not only did I have my CVT rebuilt using high quality Subaru or better parts, but I made several new friends. Before my trip, I spent time on the phone with Matt Johnson who is the owner and he conveyed exactly what work they were going to do. When I arrived, I spoke again with Matt and was introduced to Jeff Stepp "world famous YouTube CVT Meister" and very felt confident. Between Jeff's 25+ years rebuilding transmissions and their diagnostics testing on the road test, I was reassured driving back home would be fine. If you live in the Minneapolis area, you are very lucky as these folks are the real deal, polite and smart. If you make the crazy long drive as I did, you will be glad you did. My whole experience was great, and I am thankful to have met true gentlemen in the automotive repair world.
